EEG enters unique Joint Venture with Energy & Utility Management (EUM)
- 1-25-2012
National drainage specialists EEG have entered into a joint venture with the Petriebuchanan Group for the complete design build management of all utility and energy infrastructures.
A team of consultants from Glasgow-based Petriebuchanan will embed into the new company, which will be known as EEG Energy and Utility Management (EUM).
The new business was formed after the successful partnership of PBG and EEG in the delivery of a £2 million water upgrade provided for Steward Milne Homes in Aberdeen.
Petriebuchanan offers utility infrastructure design and masterplan strategy covering electric, gas, water, telecoms and renewables.
In addition, they provide assessment of the potential impact that new proposals will have on each existing utility and the costs associated.
John Petrie who is heading up the joint venture company said: “This is a unique partnership which will enable the company to resolve strategic energy infrastructure issues for our clients, whilst offering support and new business opportunities to other areas of the EEG group.
“Experts at Petriebuchanan will be able to provide an understanding of the deregulated energy markets and adopted strategies that coincide with existing market conditions.
“The team will deliver a proactive and strategic approach towards project infrastructure, asset investment, independent control of construction, and delivery of new utility and energy infrastructure.
“Their knowledge and expertise is vital for the continued growth of the group as a market leader in the utilities sector.”
Petriebuchanan’s business support ranges from investment in new business opportunities with partners like EEG, to assisting companies with sector knowledge.
“With Petriebuchanan and EEG working together under one banner – EUM - clients will receive significant added value through proactive approaches towards project infrastructure,” added John.
